Train Depot 1889
Old train depot built in 1889 replaced in 1938 by a smaller depot and dock. Harry Durkee was the first Depot Agent in Chewelah. Building stands on 2nd street behind Polanski's owned by Elmer Sissick. The flooring was used in the construction of the Wilbur Ross house out on Lincoln St. |
