Description: McCrea & Davies Hardware and Furniture 1904
Located on the south side of main and E. 2nd.
George H. McCrea came here in 1902 started in a small store that he outgrew and built this one in 1904. In 2003 it is the Post Office same building with new back, roof, wiring, etc. Note the Methodest church steeple in the background and building on the right side-------
The picture was taken from a glass Steelhead negative.(Steelhead was a photographer in early Chewelah).
