Description 1903 View of Chewelah Main Street The colonial building in left foreground was the Pomeroy Hotel. Hwy. bult and operated by Henry Pomeroy this building was distroyed by fire the same year this photo was taken 395 would be just east of the hotel. Across the street was the Krug Building which also burned in this year. All wooden buildings on main street but one (Dr. Hardwicks office) have been replaced. Note the Spray wagon in front of the hotel. Odd Fellows Hall on etreme left .
