| Description |
Opera House
Steelhead titled this picture "Chewelah's New Opera House". The building housed the "Empress" Theater and later the "Avalon". The Auditoriom was used for revitals, plays and other productions. The Chewelah Independent occupied the left part of the building and Empress Hotel was on the second floor. |
