Description: Chewelah Indians This picture was taken out by the Ken Hafer ranch on the Farm to Market road. (Of course there was no road at this time) The reason for this celebration is not known. The Chewelah Tribe no longer exists. The few remaining decendents are now members of the Spokane Tribe.
