Section House 1898
This was formerly the section house of the Spokane Falls and Northern railway. It was first occupied by James Gillen, father of Mrs. James P. Raftis from 1889 to 1891. From 1891 until 1904 occupied by James P. Raftis family. Mr. Raftis was station foreman until the railroad changed hands in 1904. Note high waters. The St Paul Luthern Church was built almost in this same spot. |
