Baling Hay 1906
Bailing hay south of Chewelah about 1906. Power to operate the bailer was supplied by the team of horses at left. This was called a Half-sweep Baler. Bales in those days weighed from 130-160 lbs. For a time quantities of hay were shipped out. The men are unknown.
