Description: Thomas Brown Home
At the time this picture was taken, the home was owned by Col. D.P. Jenkins, a well known Spokane and Chewelah pioneer. Here he raised ponies as a hobby. he also fenced a portion of the place for a deer run. For some time John Schoenberg took care of the place for him. This place was located slightly west of Stevens st. between Main and Clay Ave.
