Description: Daisy-Gifford School 1893
This District was organized in 1893. It was then combined with the Evergreen district in 1953. This picture from an old Steelhead negative, shows the children attending shortly after the turn of the century. There were seven Holforn children attending and others were the Cooopers, Hofstetter, Morgan Fulgham, Wining, Storm, Newell and Kennedy children. Rosa is identified third from the right in back row. Charles Holford is first boy in third row. Deanna Sturman also in picture. Teacher is Mrs. Frank McDonald.
